Azure OpenAI & AI Foundry Degradation Active Now — Sweden Central Region Hit
Since 10:00 UTC on 29 September 2026, a subset of customers using Azure OpenAI Service, Foundry Agent Service, Foundry Models, and Cognitive Services in Sweden Central are experiencing intermittent request failures, increased latency, and HTTP 5XX errors. Microsoft reports it is observing improvements and monitoring the situation. Workaround: route affected workloads to an alternate Azure region while the incident persists.
